well both keith and mick says that its about keiths daughter så that would be easyest thing to believe. but yeah i think that maybe theres a little jagger/bowie thing in it too. but keith wrote far most of the song so i would say its for keiths daughter

I've read several sources that say "Angie" is dedicated to Bowie's wife. Why I don't know. I also remember Mick confirming that he & Bowie passed out on the same bed once, & there was nothing sexual about it - that it's quite common for British guys to do this. If you recall the British movie "4 Weddings & a Funeral", it opens with Hugh Grant & some other guy asleep in the same bed. However, maybe Jagger was covering up something between him & Bowie, since Bowie is/was definitely bisexual.

yes, he always has a certain melancholy about him. but a classy melancholy. I notice that the bass player is also probably hanging out with Charlie after the gig and not mick and the crew doing shots. He gets the galss of wine or some other more sophisticated drink while he and charlie discuss world politics or perhaps the state of England's oncoming recession and what that is doing to their portfolios.
