actually sms is not about correctness its about how well you work woth your horse on the ground the judge it is on 20% conformation and 80% on how you work with your horse

Actually, if it came down to two people, one person took a long time to set up to make it look perfect, and the other person didn't take long to set up well.. the person who took the least time is going to place better.

oh I was touching him in the warm up area we weren't being judged then. You have to line up and wait your turn in your go of about 20 horses because their is like 150 people in the class.

yeah I hated that arena too!! My horse is 16'3 so he is big like yours:) I just didn't like how dark it was in there and how loud it was. I think amateur sms is in the coliseum this year!!!!

that was asweome! your oufit--the color looks hard to clean, but its fits perfect with your horse. and haha your in the cooper. You have no idea how bad i hate that ring. its like 3 inches wide lol well for me, cause my horse is a hair shy from 16 hands, and that ring just didn't work for me haha. anyway, i watch your vids everyday. you're so good and the more i watch your eq the more i think i get better lol. =]

god, i hated that stupid pattern.i think i took out the cone, but i don't remember lol. i had to do it for the NYATT showmanship.you did pretty good for your first congress.i was really nervous my first time showing as well. my mom and my trainer said they could see me shaking from the stands hahaha. yay congress!

hi horsepro, you are right that I was nervous and inexperianced. It was my first time showing at congress and I went there for the novice events in 2006. We decided to do the amateur sms for practice as I had only beeen showing QH for about a year and a half. Yes Julia Dreyer is very good at sms but I do not recall ever putting her down or that I was jealous. I posted her pattern because I thought it was GREAT, and also for myself and others to learn from a congress and world placing partnership
