It may thus come as a surprise to some that the premises at Dempsey Hill used to be the Central Manpower Base of Singapore,Just off Holland Road and outside the Orchard Road area, the Tanglin Village/ Dempsey Hill is no longer only known for its antique, teak furniture shops and carpet dealers. Home to a handful of F&B nooks for a quiet and cosy night out, the area has made a name for itself as a wine-and-dine destination. (this clip was taken by Nokia N93)
