They have all been with him a very long time. Bassist Rick Haynes and lead guitarist Terry Clements have been recording and touring with Gord since 1969 and 1971 respectively (around the time If You Could Read My Mind came out). Drummer Barry Keane came along in 1976 and the keyboard player Mike Heffernan first recorded with Gordon on Shadows in 1982.

I'd say Gordon Meredith Lightfoot, Jr., looks pretty good for 70 years old. Thanks, GKLAKEMAN. This was the best live version of Edmund Fitzgerald I've heard!

Great song. Being from Minnesota its absolutely true, Superior doesn't give up her dead. It's the coldest anything I've ever been in and its the last place you want to be in November. Thanks for posting the song, great memories.
