This album should be more like Blackwater Park, Ghost Reveries, and less like Damnation. Don't get me wrong, I love Damnation, but I feel as if it deserves its own pedestal and Opeth should record no more albums based on soft tones and melodies.

What a boring critique. It's easy to be an arm-chair quarterback. The simplicity of life is in the details, and those details are relative.

The screaming sounds extremely mainstream. Very boring. Nothing exciting about this. They keep using riffs that are supposed to differ from other genre's music. But ironically, it sounds like the same shit over and over again. Upgrade a bit.

I think this may be my favorite song on watershed. All the riffs are amazing. This album was awfully "acoustic." some don't seem to like this way. Personally I think every song on this album is a big hit, except coil. That one just doesn't hit home for me.
