i don't think people should compare covers and original versions. in general, i think comparing one thing to the other and saying "this one is better" or "this one is worse" is rather fruitless.but especially with something like this, one of them is of montreal, and one is david bowie. they're both great, can we keep it that way?

Didn't like it that much. My humble opinion is that he misses a couple of the original song's chords. Also, if there are two guys singing, they could sing in harmony and not in octaves... It would sound way better. Bowie rocks.

Interesting cover. Judge separately, both versions are great! And at times he sounds spookily like Bowie.
