musicben2--the backgrounder on Joni is nice but is there and way you can get the original video sans commentary? I just love this version without the chanting chorus that is in the background of the studio recording. I love the way the kid on the bleachers looks over his shoulder while she is singing "we can't look back" and the way she delicately shifts her left hand to become a capo during parts of the song. Was this one of the old Oscar Brand "Sing Out" programs? Thanks

It would be nice if there was a live clip here somewhere without the interruption (and I mean Joni, not a cover; there are plenty of those.

beautiful song, i love this. its the best thing and i love the story behind it. its not like a lot of songs that only sing to sing, not to tell a story or help people fix their lives. that is what Joni Mitchell and plenty of other singers do, and they are angels.
