This is timeless footage thanx very much for it. The best thing i love about rush is their musicianship no egos, creative differences, etc. when they put an album together they all have to agree on all phases. I know that Neil is their designated lyricist but i'm sure he collaberates with geddy & alex on lyrics they are so wise if you listen to their interviews they are very intelligent they all play a vital role in the music!!!

in other words if i Had to make a decision and 2 guys had to be replaced , id keep Alex and replace Geddy and NeilNow dont misunderstand, OBVIOUSLY i wouldnt ever want to replace any of them , but im simply sayin if i had to make that decision and 2 had to go, id definitely Keep Alex no question about ittake songs like BYTOR, XANADU, LA VILLA, JACOBS LADDER, SPIRIT OF RADIO, WORKIN MAN, etc. Alex is clearly the driving force behind the tone, feeling and tenor of these songs 100%

truth is theres not many of us, 75 % of the RUSH fans i know of admire Geddy and Neil much more than Alex.the me Alex is the heartbeat of RUSH, the 'signature sound' its not geddy or Neil , although obviously they are fabulous.If you take Alex away and say he never was part of this band and your replaced him , sure id still think the band was very talented and great, but i would NOWHERE near be as big a fan.Alex to me is the CORE of the rush experience and sets the tone for rest

I listen to rush because of everybodys great work in the band (mostly alex but still everybody in the band is great)
