Ideally yes, but in the case of the western world all trying to hump them dry of their lands and resources, they have to develop themselves by themselves to keep the west off their backs. Unfortunately, idealism will not protect them from the the greed of their neighbours

Why do these people need to be developed to western standards and have their own skycrapers in time and cars and tv's and mobile phones and all the stuff we have? Aren't they happy as they are? Are we happier in the western so called developed world? Let these people alone and the paradise where they live! Sometimes I like to change my life here in the west for the incomplicated life they have in that beautiful place. These people have food, houses and are happy, what else do they need?
