This is the last statement i will make to the mydarkerself person, after oldgrowth trees get to old and rot out they dont stand very strong and the wind blows them down.

just ignore my comments or delete them...i'm just passionate about the trees and felt brave enough to stick up for them...i'll go back to my hole now. :)peace to all*all i can say is.. can we all reforest what wood we have used...that would be really cool...that's my goal anyway...to plant trees to replace what i've used in my own life...I can't speak for any1 else. but seeing this does make me feel sorrow (like cutting off the fingers of mother earth)peace out

I have a hard time believing that statement. When do old growth trees fall?...I can imagine they need pruning perhaps...but never heard of them falling down everywhere. Soon there will be none if we don't protect what's left. Do y'all replant?

There are alot more old growth trees than you think there are, if we don't cut some of them they will fall down everywere.
