arguably, people don't chose like people conceive of 'choosing' neither though :)

This experiment where the particle/wave was observed before they hit the slit still begs the question: how does the particle/wave (wavicle) "know" to go through one slit or the other; whether to interfere with itself (?) or not?It is difficult not to anthropomorphize in the face of not knowing the process that's involved. In a picture of an artist painting a picture of an artist painting a picture of an artist painting a picture ad infinitum, where is the picture? And what does it look like?

PS: Who is this guy and what is the name of the show? I saw this same animation about "God's perspective vs. ours" and I'd like to find it again. Anyone know the name of this program?

Awesome, but I didn't understand the observer part.

it's somewhat misleading to say 'the electron chose' and also to portray the 'observer' as an eyeball. both of these oversights could lead to major misconceptions if you don't understand why they are poor metaphors. electrons don't chose like people conceive of 'choosing' and measuring the passage of electrons is not the same as 'watching' with a human eye.
