To save the florest the Europe and the America have to stop buying wood from Brasil. It's simple! In Brazil we heard a lot of lies only to legitimate a future military invasion, like on Iraq.

And yea we mainly buy our wood from China, which in fact does cut down a lot of trees illegally...

We get enough oxygen from the ocean alone.If all the trees were cut down we would still be okay...Plus humans as a species are very resourceful even if our oxygen supply was getting too low we could make machines to convert the carbon dioxide like trees do.

I live in the Netherlands, not in the USA. But anyway, people shouldn't look at the USA as an example, but have to go another way. Also, I think it was wrong that the USA didn't sign the Kyoto protocol.

I used to live in USA, there we are not allowed to plant trees wherever we want to. In your house you can't have a tree instead a garden full of grass, might be because they are prettier. |
