yes, and the suits got wise by thinking "Hmmm... we can boost our revenue by airing the Emmys at night rather than in the day when people are working!!!!" This way they can showcase each network's line-up and recruit new viewers.

This was broadcast on ABC, as LMAD, Pyramid and the short-lived Showdown were all ABC game shows.And yes, that is Bery Convy, longtime host of "Tattletales," "Win, Lose or Draw," and "Password Plus." He also was an actor, known on Daytime for his work on "Love of Life" and also for being a victim in the cult B-movie "Bucket of Blood."Nice work if you can get it.
