The Commodore Amiga was a great computer in the old days. Things went different in the past, and the IBM PC together with Microsoft succeeded. The Amiga was the better one, but the winner takes it all...

The Amiga is what got Steve Jobs fired from Apple inc in the mid-80's. When Commodore released their very first Amiga computer, the folks at Apple got furious to find out that they released a computer that has twice as many features and capabilities as their latest Mac... at half the price. They were so pissed at Jobs for presumably creating an 'overpriced toy' compared to the Amiga and they booted him from the team (though as we know, he came back over 10 years later). |
