They'd be going to fast to do anything like that anyway.

What about the control system.. is it fly-by-wire or still with the good old cables?

no the fueselage generates lift when the plane in knife the rudder is like elevator so it goes in oppisite direction like alex maclean said in vid it pionts the plane upwards
zaqui20 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
no cuz you have no more lift due to the angle of the wings so if you kick the pedal the opposite side you just retard the descend and you dont lift the plane.but when the engine its so powerful like 400hp or more..you can stay in knife edge the time you want cuz is the propeller is remplacing the wings.

Ive notice that now ;) thanks for the answer.

Go to 2:13. that's pushing pedals

I have a doubt if anyone can give me an answer...When the plane goes in knife, its needed to lift the plain up a little bit so it makes a curve motion and, dont loose height but, in my opinion, its easier just to press your pedals...imagine you make a left knife, you press the right pedal instead of lifting your plane...

Thanks for answers. A bit embarrasing. I should have understood that the cones are cold inflated "balloons" - being a hot air ballon pilot myself :=|
