I agree. We need to ask forgiveness for our sin and not stop there, but actually repent from it which means to turn away from it and not do it anymore. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness. That verse is talking about those who are actively living in sin... whether they asked the Lord to save them or not. If we're saved and truly love the Lord, our lives will change radically. If there's no change and sin continues as a common practice in our lives, we need to question the commitment.

Maybe he is being honest. And yes, sometimes people are so full of their own lies that they even experience symptoms, even those not done by the disease. It is called a psicosommatic disease, I think. Nevertheless who am I to judge him, i just hope and pray he is really changed by the Holy Spirit and becomes the person God dreamed in His heart the day He created him.

dont judge others, or god will judge us! from the bible itself!i know my god still heals, therefor i still sing this song no matter what he has done, i forgive him as god has forgiven me.

i think that mike is a bigger man than many of us. simply because he had the courage to come out of his life of lies. some of have yet to. don't judge him. only God will judge.

When the church and God get a black eye from sinful or fraudulent behavior by leaders, they need to go to great lengths to make things right. God is faithful and merciful in His forgiveness, but when it comes to leaders, there needs to be a aggressive effort to help in the recovery of the damage done.

Michael was a leader and needs to be held accountable for his continuation of the lies surrounding this fraudulent behavior.Of coarse we all sin and and need to not only ask for forgiveness, but need to also repent or turn away from our sin of we're to receive forgiveness. God will hold leaders to a different standard than those that they lead. A millstone and a deep sea come to mind. A pastor or leader needs to be not careful as they lead, but very honest when they seek restoration.

I appreciate that Michael has come forward as far as he has, but hope that he gets fully honest one day. I believe he will be forgiven, but only when he's confessed all of his fraud. He's still holding onto some of his lies by saying that his symptoms were real even though he had no cancer. Your hair doesn't just fall out because you're lying about having a terminal disease. Your breathing doesn't become labored and difficult to the point of needing oxygen to assist it without good reason.

And again, we're humans and we are SINNERS. We cannot live life with our own strength, but by the blood of Jesus we are born again! We Christians also sins, but the most important thing is to repent! Ask for forgiveness!Jesus dwells with the sinners, because its the turning and the seeking for forgiveness led them to be saved! |
