He doesn't need to make up his own barcode. Off camera Derren simply bets on every dog in the race. That way he always has a winning ticket to attach to the losing one.

you cant just put the winning bar code on the losing ticket. Each ticket that won has its own individual bar code. There is no universal bar code for $10 to win on the number 2. Every ticket is different, and therefore he would have had to make up his own barcode which wouldnt be recognizable by the machines

its noy hypnosis, mysticism, or any other junk. the best that can be explained is through non-verbal communication and presenting yourself in a commanding manner. this can easily be pulled off, the fact that it was a woman instead of a man that they went two is also another dominance part. the only problem i have, myself with the video is that camra men were all over the place, and there was a computer system. wouldnt they think something is amiss?

You people are so gullible! This is not done by psychology, hyponosis, NLP or any other kind of psychobabble. It is just a magic trick, as is nearly everything Derren does. This particular trick is achieved by simply putting a winning barcode on a losing ticket. I've seen it done elsewhere, without the performer claiming it was done with psychology!

I was going to say lol! If this system worked then Derren Brown could have made 100 times whatever they pay him to make a TV show by ripping off bookies.Cashing in on losing tickets would be like a licence to print money.
