you are rigth, if you du the right adjustments its the exactly like a vinyl turntable...i love my cdj's much more than my vinyl decks

First of all, if you turn the auto-cue off, and do not set a cue-point, then in pause mode it will stay exactly where you leave it when you take your hand off of the platter. Secondly, if you adjust your touch/release to about 10 o'clock then it has a more real time feel when you release the track.

vinyl is better but this is more easy

(i don't know how much knowledge you have of dj gear so i'll keep it simple)dj gear should always be hooked up something like this: minimal 2 music sources (cdj's for example)plugged into a mixer and then the mixer goes from its output to the input on the amplifier wich goes eventually to the speakers the sound can be made by the cdj but you will of course need something to transfer that sound to your speakers because else you wouldn;t be able to hear it:phope i've been a helpS.
