Moore pretty much regards comics and film as incompatable artforms, It's likely this disillusionment with film adaptations of his work started when Joel Silver first suggested to Moore and Gibbons casting Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dr Manhattan in a Watchmen filmeither that or The Return Of Swamp Thing 1989 film.

JSword , Moore doesn't want his name on ANY film adaption of his work. He's a bit os a poseur in that respect, but fanboi's never call him out on it. Just pointing out that it has nothing to do with this film alone.

Yeah but I read now that Moore has not seen or heard one thing about the movie. All movies based on his books he reclines to put his name on it. Constantine, League, V for Vendetta... Moore refuses to have anything to do with all movies even if they are good (which so far none have been.)We'll wait and see.

btw - the host of this show looks like a 45 year old meth-head, coming off a 9 day bender with a pair of old english 40's to keep him company. 2:32 - dude the guy is having trouble with reality and he really is doing his best to read his lines... so rofl. i dont know if reelzchannel is indie or what but they should really get a legit host. zack snyder cant even bear to look the guy in his eyes for more than a second for fear of his skin turning inside out. |
