Luke and Tim are far better guitarists than James and Kirk. Just listen to the guitars and you'll hear it for yourself. Arif is much better bassist than whoever is playing bass in Metallica now. Rody shits all over James vocal-wise, with a much better range and something I can stand listening to. The only thing I can't really compare is the drummers because I don't play drums... But just by listening to the two bands, Moe owns the fuck out of that money grabbing cunt, Lars.

"Legend" or not, James Hetfield is still a shitty vocalist. I don't think very highly of his guitar playing either.What I've been trying to say is that the musicmanship in Protest is far better. The songs are better composed, more varied and all of the musicians are better. Vocalists included. Compare any old metal band to Protest the Hero, and Protest will blow them out of the water every time.
