Wickerman the origional was one of the ten best films that I have ever seen...I though some of those origional bits turned up by the side of a road in scotland...

The Wicker Man stands on its own despite the ridiculous US remake. I do wish those uncut scenes from the original could be located and reintegrated into the film. On Summerisle the Old Knowledge is still in use-Christianity is a "comparative religion".When Christopher Lee answers Edward Woodward's incredulous judgmental query about the girls jumping naked over the fire to become impregnated-with the retort "Jesus Christ was born of a virgin impregnated by a ghost". Its just classic.

there shouldnt have been a remake in the first place as thers no need i mean it should have been a sequal if they were gonna do it anyway as remakes completly miss the point.
