Slash may not be the most technical guitarist in the world, but its the passion and feeling that he plays with that makes his solos the most impressive and memorable. And when it comes down to it isn't THAT what counts? If a musician can't make us FEEL then they shouldn't play. Its not about scales and shredding, its about feeling.

kirkhammett33 you have a point in the technique thing but i think what you mean is that some other guitarists shred instead of playing like slash, but slash has really good technique he really knows what hes doing if you listen closely but guitarists like buckethead just play some elaborate shredding but not exactly good technique...

And his top hat! :O

i believe that slash is the most influensive guitarist. this comes not from his skills (he is not the best technician) nor from his musical work, this only comes from his style. he definitely plays with the most passion and feel of all the other guitar heroes, though they may be better in technic or music he is the best concerning feeling and flow.
