Great video. I was actually doing this but turning off the turntable but keeping my finger spinning the record. Also slowing down some dnb tracks to the speed of breakbeats by slowing down a bit and hitting the 33rpm button

No all your doing is stopping the power to the turntable motor. Bit like pressing the on/off switch on your television, doesn't harm your television by doing this. Its harmless and won't damage your technics, no matter how much you turn the power switch on and off. |
