Your dad is good at bullshitting lol. Since the establishment of the modern government, Khmer land is the same. The fact is, for hundreds of years, the Cambodian loyalty has been the one that are responsible for the loss of Khmer land for their flip-flop tit-for-tat tactics and dependency on Thai or Viet help in to fight their fellow Khmer royal families.
