I was being a bit sarcastic. I'm not really sorry. I didn't take a pot shot at you, anyway. I just politely asked for civility. I haven't been doing a slow burn, I just didn't get around to responding till now. I was trying to make a point that these old videos are about fun and nostalgia. If you want to go ballistic there's nothing I can do about that, but I still think it's inapropriate. Bye.

Like I said before, the Shadows are just a shadow of The Ventures. The Ventures were inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame in March, 2008. The shadows? Never happen. Oh, they'll be inducted into the R&R Hall of SHAME. Last I read, Marvin's a Jehovah's Witness living down in Australia. Deserted his mother country and mother religion for some other crappy religion. He had to use an Echo machine gimmick to make music. Guess he'll take it to R&R heaven to impress Elvis.

These guys are awesome. I first heard them on the radio growing up and then years later, I saw them performing at Experience Music Project. Still sounding awesome as ever before. Thanks for sharing the music and the video. :)

I really think the secret to The Shadows sound is the unique and economic Rhythm style of Bruce Welch which is a perfect foil for Marvins Lead.
