The sax on the boat is an allegory for the journey of maturity, as a result of love/romance. It dates back to the 16th century noble Claude, Duke of Guise (pron. "gee"), who sailed from Luxembourg to Amsterdam with hired musicians playing soothing music for him, as he was on his way to fetch his young bride, and was nervous as a result.
