I saw Gil on both his Australian tours in the 90s with essentially this band. Amazing the first time... unbelievable energy, soul and skill... but second time, sadly Gil was too messed up to hold it together. Watched this great band taking 10 minute solos while GSH nodded off at the keyboards. Hope things are better now for Gil.A great prophet and musical originator. Eternal gratitude and respect.
