GAY?? He's got four children. And aside from that, who cares? He's brilliant, and the most beautiful man in the universe.

I honestly can't describe how good Wetton's bass playing is here. Not only does he play the huge overdriven bridge part, but his playing in the verses and chorus is so tasteful, complementary, and just plain exciting. Definitely one of the best ever in rock.

It was an offhand comment. However, the whole sodomy thing is...well...offputting.

why care about his sexual orientation? his music's good no matter what he is. being gay dosen't make you less good than straights.

i agree. and IMO, the whole 'gay' discussion is totally irrelevant. yes, he does move a little 'weird'... i call it the 'Ferry sashay' :)bottom line: Ferry is hot. ROXY is hot

Back in the day Bryan was considered to be very cool & was something of a style icon. Girls wanted to be with him & guys wanted to be like him. I'm not sure that would have been the case in the '70s if there had been any suspicion that he was gay. I think maybe some people are misinterpreting GLAM rock through modern eyes.

yep fleetwood mac is one of my favourites, next to roxy music, talking heads, doors and lots of more contemporary bands.I think Ferry isn't gay, considering the (beautiful) women he has dated. And I think he is really hot. He moves a little weird, feminine-like, but that's because he doesn't have anything else to do and he can't dance really. |
