rsj2007ca,buddha was born in a region that's now known as nepal. the country named nepal may not have existed back then, but that region did. there've been indians & orientals in nepal. the fact that buddha's teachin's appeal 2 orientals & 2 almost no indians prove that he was an oriental.

Buddha's real name was indian, he was a hindu and nepal didnt even exist back then lol. His caste when going by hindu caste system was a warrior! He was born in a royal indian family.

I think Siddharta was a man who understood the real origin of pain and illusion... but it is strange to see that everytime, mystical things appears (like the bowl on the river). This vision of life (mystical things everywhere) is an illusion too... maybe the most important... leading to religion ^^Whatever, i like Keanu reeves!!
