OMG! pte Donnelly, disregard that thumb's down. I meant to hit the other one. Hearing all that I've been hearing really brings things home. My family history goes all the way back to the British Isles, especially Scotland. Been going through tartans and finding one that always calls out to me...Black Watch. Blessing be upon ye, lads, and keep up the good work! :)

My personall view is that army pipe bands should not compete. They should use their limited practice time to perfect a more traditional sight and sound. Leave it to the civvies for all the fancy modern tunes and the like! The army pipe bands should concentrate on drill and tunes for their regiment and portraying those traditions.

Nice to see the new pipe band of this newly amalgamated regiment. Did the KOSB and RS pipe bands also compete? Does this downgrade the army pipe bands when they go up against the civies?
