Fucking brilliant, I dont care if he dances ballet. That guy owns, I would do anything to be able to speak like that.

This is just nonsense. Can you prove to me that God exist? Secondly you can prove to me that you know how he thinks. Then thirdly you can explain to me why he cares about life on a planet when most of the universe is bent on destruction and producing black holes. This however, is NOT a scientific debate if you cannot produce evidence. I'm open to the idea that maybe I'm wrong about my views, you however seem close minded to the idea that you are wrong, even when confronted with the evidence.

but fill in the "..." and you're proven not completely wrong, but certainly in denial of earth's insignificance..I don't think it's wrong to have faith in whatever/whoever created this whole huge universe of ours, but it is a little prideful to think of yourself as the center to such a massive environment, created by a god that shares your image in nature.also, i think it is a instinctual human emotion to love and share compassion amongst ourselves, not will of a divine creator but allowance.

Also, he says, "As you ascend from the earth, and look at... how insignificant we are... in comparison to the cosmos,..to say that the same god who created the cosmos cares about your life here on earth... is an expression... of ego." To say the Creator cares about your life on earth does not show our egotism, but reveals a loving and caring God, who, though he created everything, still cares about the smallest details of his creation. That, I believe, is the mark of a truly awesome God.

Holy cow! I agree entirely with seeanff on this topic. God has been forgotten and attacked just as the Holy Bible predicted. As for the video, the man with the microphone has missed some vital points. "Is what you prayed for replied to in whatever way you had hope to in your prayers." God is like a father. Do you get everything you ask your dad for? Sometimes God will say no. He often does not even give an explanation. He does not have to. He is God, you are not.

the only reason why the patterns agree with biblical 'predictions' is because people read it
receptor24 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
my theory is because we all possess "god-powers" and we are all "god of our only reality", with respect to the greater being, to make insincere prayers to "god" would be insincere to yourself/"god" so of course "god"/you wouldn't respond because there is no greater religion than truth ^.^

So, at some point in the several thousand year life span of an unseen god, another god and religion will arise that more closely reflects where man has evolved at that given point in time. The authors of the bible were aware of this so a scare tactic was implemented that makes reference to known repetitive human behavioral cycles. These are then alleged to be warning signs that the end of the world is near. With this clever theology, the end of the world is always just right around the corner.
UndergroundSaxMan (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
The bible makes predictions about things that have already occured in similar cyles becasue it's authors knew of past historical events. For example:Floods:there is archeological evidence of catastrophic floodsArmegeddon:there is historical evidence that the battle on armegeddon has occured at least 9 times alreadyLosing faith in a God:every several thousand years or so a new God emerges along with it's respective religion. However the God is never seen and always seems to be in hiding.

You know I go around YouTube a lot and I find the comments I used to find offensive very heart-warming. While I know people will always call me an idiot for it, the patterns I see in life completely agree with the Bible's predictions for society. The dropping belief in God, which has come to mockery and religious challenge. One thing I really don't get is why people think Science and Religion are anti-matter, matter reactions. Thing open-minded about them both and you will come to accept each.
