I think what sinaasapelsap is trying to say is that there are many subgenres of Visual Kei. Just look it up on Wikipedia. Oshare Kei bands usually put on bright make-ups and play music that are more cheerful while _____ ( forgot the name srry) Kei bands usually put on darker make ups and stuff. Try typing in "himeyuri" and "exist trace" inside the youtube search bar. You'll see what I mean. Both are Visual Kei bands, but have different styles.

no there are many tys of visual kei u can be visual punk visual goth visual vampire i think liek the visual is afeminin look yeh im not sure my self :)

Oh but I thought Visual Kei was a dark flame almost vampire-like style of jrock? Shouldn't it look more like punks or emos that are dressed dark and masculine, rather than gothic cute chicks? lol (I'm not trying to be mean, sorry if I sounded bad)
