Nice review. If you can buy a Croton automatic for around $80 or less, you got a great deal. Croton has a reputation for excellent customer service & value for the money. Where else can you buy a $100 watch with a lifetime warranty? I love my Crouton automatic. It has the newer Miyota movement with a hack feature.

Also... have you considered the fact that perhaps your skin oils, chemistry and sweat do not react well with certain metals? Thats not uncommon, depending on the individuals body chemistry. Thanks for the tip though on your particular watch... I won't be adding that one to my collection. I can think of at least a dozen watches I'd rather be wearing that a Croton... in the 0-$2000 price range.8^)

To discredit an entire brand because of one model is very narrow minded. The watch you see in my vid cost me $31 shipped on ebay. Its solid stainless except the end links... and has a feel of heft and durability that blows away other watches under $100.The Miyota 8215 movement is extremely accurate and has thus far proven to be just as good of a mechanic as ANY high end movement.Good Luck with SNBC CS... I have heard bad things about their customer service.peace-out

DO NOT BUY CROTON WATCHES!! They are of poor quality. I recently purchased two Croton G-12's MSRP $2,200.00 from ShopNbc just this June 2008 and the bands are already tarnishing. What's surprising is that they haven't even been worn yet and are still wrapped in the protective plastic!!
