This is one of the best Rich drum battles I've seen, because Animal took Buddy just a little bit out of hs comfort zone... instead of going head to head on jazz drumming (where he had no chance) he plays more of a rock solo - Buddy switches to matched grip & assaults his toms too, but didn't seem to be quite so dazzling. Never seen that before, he's always in command - he has to switch back to a jazz solo for his big finish. So, shame Animal lost confidence, I think he nearly had him ;-)
