I always thought that Frostbite Baily, because of the way he was drawn, was a Mexican woman trying to bulid the igloos, and her brother Coocoo-ra-cha was setting all this up on her. Everytime she would die, she would yell "COOCOO-RA-CHA!" I did realize that what seems to be her hair is actually his Eskimo hood several times before, but to realize it now, I think he looks so...boring.From the manual: "Help Frostbite Bailey build igloos by jumping on floating blocks of ice. Be careful to avoid these deadly hazards: killer clams, snow geese, Alaskan king crab, grizzly polar bears and the rapidly dropping temperature. Each time Frostbite Bailey jumps onto a white ice floe, a block is added to the igloo. Once jumped upon, the white ice turns blue. When all four rows are blue, they will turn white again. The igloo is complete when a door appears. Frostbite may then jump into his igloo.Frostbite always starts working when it's 45 degrees outside. You'll notice this steadily falling temperature at the upper left corner of the screen. Frostbite must build and enter the igloo before the temperature drops to zero, or else he'll turn into blue ice!"The farthest I've ever gotten in Frost Bite! There were some things that bothered me a little, but it still came out OK. That part where I was mugged by the grizzly polar bear was on accident. I wasn't sure what to do on the later levels, either. The ice floes moved so fast, which is why I died a lot in the last parts!

For the most part, this has to do with using composite. Another may be due to that emulation technolgy was used from the PlayStation game compliation titled "A Collection of Activision Classic Game for the Atari 2600."

why are the colors so bad?

This game looks insanely fun! Looks like one of those games back then that people naturally, and brilliantly, thought of. I love the temperature concept too!

Cara, lembrei !!! Eu tinha esse também...Certamente o Atari marcou toda uma geração, então, descanse em paz...

I am well aware of that. While it may not be perfect to the original Atari 2600 version, no known major differences have been found that can hinder the experience of playing these Activision games on the Sony PlayStation.

I don't know about the 3/4 perspection on Frostbite Baily (could be your perception on him, since the quality is lowish and you're seeing him for the first time), but the way it looks kinda 3-D is nice here. You CAN actually move diagonally when you press diagonal down-right, diagonal down-left, and so forth.

The 3D effect works really good in this game, especially the 3/4 persoective of the main character.I like how it appears that you can jump diagonally.
