Cambodia is a great place for a holiday madpelletgunner. The Angkor ruins were the most incredible thing Ive seen, and Im not normally into temples. The people were friendly, optimistic and very outward looking compared to regional neighbours. The Sihanoukville beaches were amazing. Phnom Penh has a long way to go before it has recovered, and I only realised how damaged it still is after seeing this clip. I'd no idea it once looked like that. I'm sure though - the Khmers are up to the challenge.

Angkor Wat is incredible place u never no, one of largest temple in the world, the most architectural building in Asia and the eight wonder of the world.

Cambodia hav a lot of place 4 u 2 spend on and on....such as:Angkor(old cambodian capital from 8 century to 15 century) one of the largest city in the world during that time and the population over a millions ppl lived there. it hav more that 85 temples one of the best temple was Angkor wat.

Civil war ruined our country. We all must learn from our mistakes and stay together to rebuild Cambodia. Avoid civil war at all cost.

our once beautiful country is getting more and more beautiful again, thanks to good leadership in our country, and the support of the US, Korea, France, and Japan. Please if you are Khmer visit our country and see the beauty that is flourishing right now. like I said before Cambodia will not only be the the pearl but the Diamond of SE Asia.

Awsome! I'm meeting my friend over there Dec. 2009.He's Khmer/American.I'll be staying with his family.His daughter is marrying an American man so I am looking forward to expereincing a Khmer wedding and seeing how things have gotten better there or the people.

The government in cambodia, although a little corrupt have help its ppl in many ways recently. New roads, sewage systems, promotion of culture and heritage, woman rights, tourism has flourished in the last 5 years. Please visit cambodia again it will be the pearl of SE Asia again.

I know that Cambodia could flourish if they can only get a decent goverment who accually cares about the Khmer people.My god they have been through so much hell.Yes I have traveld there I saw.
