Sadly four words come to mind, 'it will never happen'. There is no political or social will to build these buildings or create the technology. For an example look no further than ground zero in New York, after 6 years now it's still a hole in the ground.

I think the future shouldn't just be made to be functional and efficient, but I just think it should be delibirately made to look cool... but I suppose we are doing that anyway, when you look around.

Malls are designed to be confusing on purpose so you spend more time walking by stores, increasing the chances overall that more people will buy on impulse..I enjoyed his comments about civilization.
