U know, sometimes self-pity is the only thing you can do before you get back on ur feet! Better to feel than nothing at all. Self-pity isnt an eternity... you need to mourn before moving on, if not it eats at you; its always there... I learn the hard way... Not feeling pain doesnt mean ur though... If ur ok, good for u!!! but others need to live their pain in depth before letting go, so fuck you, were all different! I love the way I am; I think I feel more empathy that way...
