Which version did you buy? The 20G model? Or the 16G model?

Can someone help me. I bougt this pc with linux, I found it to be utter crap, so I installed Win XP Pro sp2 on it. Now it runs so slowly that even typing (like now) takes time to appear and if you for example open Internet Explorer it takes it over 4 minutes. I'm sorry, but isn't it supposed to run Windows XP properly??! Also, every I start it up it returns to 800x600 and I have to set it to 1024x600 again. What a disappointment - must be a faulty unit or something, rigth??

utter crap. worst review ive ever come across.the webcam and WPA2 encryption WILL work on xpu just need to supply the correct drivers for the webcam, and for the WPA2 encryption, u need to update windows xp. the fault is with the windows itself, not the eee pc. this fault occurs only in SP2 and below. the update is already included in SP3.pls do some research before posting this video on the internet. u are confusing others

I've heard that this laptop is reasonable so I'm going to get it for Christmas. I even did a pre-review on it! Check out my videos for more info!

Yes, and yes. However, you'd be better off with the 900HA. It's a much better computer, and it's dirt cheap! Check out my review of the 900HA; you'll find the link in the show info on the right.

Is the wi-fi jus like an ordinary pc, & can you put things such a Frooty loops, itunes, or audacity?
TheCanadianPublic (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
I have. It feels like a real computer and not a compromise. I'll be posting a full review in a week or so. |
