hey i have a psp with sony's 4.01 software (not custom)can you use 3.71 firmware on it?It is a brand new psp slim (black if that matters)cause when i do this it says my software is version 4.01 and i do not need 3.71 M33.Can someone please help me my responding to this post via text comment or emailing me through my youtube accountthx this will help me and my friends alot

my psp does not have custom firmware and its version is 4.05, do i have to get the lowest custom firmware installed to me psp? because i don't feel like getting a pandora battery, and i want to know how to get the lowest custom firmware! PLZ HELP ME!

Mike I am having the same problem as fragan01.. I think what he meant is... how do u install custom firmware to version 3.90.. just the regular 3.90.. it still doesnt have the m33 thingy.. and I have the magic memory and pandora.. but when I put the battery on.. it just a black blank screen.. even if I wait for more than 1 min.. and press x... no letters appearing... just blank black screen...
