The shootout in this movie ranks right up there with the bank robbery shootout from "Heat" and the end of "The Wild Bunch." Technically it was probably harder to film as it was two shootouts going on at once on seperate floors.

When I first heard his music was at the end of Smokin' Aces. The music really made the end suspenseful and gave me goosebumps.

Clint Mansell has a knack for composing very emotional songs. All of his pieces could easily be used to tell thousands of stories. Almost anyone could think up a film to put to his music. With the obvious exception of those which his songs were originally featured in. |
