On April 21, 1994, the UNAMIR commander declared that with just 5000 soldiers and a free hand to fight Hutu Power, he could bring the genocide to a rapid halt. Instead, the UN Security council, (basically the US), slashed the amount of UN troops in Rwanda by 90%, and gave them a mandate which meant that they were powerless to help. Madeline Albright vehemently opposed having even this amount of troops there. Good old USA, you always stand for freedom and justice don't you.

You obviously don't understand who started the racial divide in rwanda- the Belgian colonials. How can you say such harsh things about other human beings? What a terrible, violent continent. Even try to bite the hand that tries to help them... Aid workers butchered or raped cause they didn't distribute food and medicine with an armed guard present... Should just cordon off the whole continent and let them destroy themselves so they don't spread to their civilized neighbors of Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Spain, and Portugal. Always wondered why Europe, Middle East, and Asia were able to civilize and not Africa...
