I met a set designer in while working in Greece in 1983. He said the two nicest people in Televsion was John Inman and Wendy Graig. John he said was such a Gentleman and such a good actor. John would be so happly to know that even today AYBS is still playing on American T.V and has such a huge following worldwide..God Bless you John.

I didn't really get into AYBS until after John Inman died, but I was sad when I found out, anyway. What's awesome though, is that he got to marry his partner before he died.

As well as being synonymous waith the character of Mr Humphries he was one of the finest pantomine dames ever. I saw him several times on stage. A great actor and a true gentleman. We shall miss him.

I was brought up with AYBS on the television. I have always loved John Inman and the way he camped up the carachter. he actually contributed in a real way to more acceptance of gay people in the UK. An utterly brilliant comedy actor, fantastic live on stage and a genuinely warm and lovely man. I live now in his home town (Blackpool). A sad miss. God bless you john.
