I think she is married and she has 5 sons, so I do not think she is gay. Whatever, she has wonderful songs, romantic and a bit sad.

This song takes me back to my Fineline days back in the mid to late 80's when I was a youth filled with such heartache and sorrow. Looking back at those times, I'm thinking to myself, if only life could be that simple again. And, I, that naive.

Correction... she is a Fijian Malaysian mix. On the Malaysian side... she is an Indian immigrant. Damn... just listen to her music... Talk about a good blend.... I love her.

mujersemilla, she is a lovely blend of Indian and Malaysian, but I see why you thought Maori. She grew up here in the UK, so we're all proud of her too.Just need a few more Indian/Malaysian marriages, that combination seems to works well.Hope all is well in Brazil.

I was responding to Greenstain420Brazil who had previously that this song was a copied from a Brazilian song. This is the original song by Tanita Tikaram.
