I find the TRAGIC element here terribly missing,it's as if they are all going through the motions only and leaving me cold at the end of this piece. Utterly boring, what a perversion. And definitely Thielemann ain't NO Karajan! Go listen to Bohm's with the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra. sd goh (malaysia)

Fisically painful to watch. There's something negative about the way he conducts.And orchestra seems to hate him as well.

i love this opera and especially thielemann conducting it. he truly makes all the music he conducts special i want to thank you for this video. it is ao beautiful i could listen to it all day. susanne
