Olivier brilliantly edits together two different Richard speeches here, from "Richard III" and "3 King Henry VI." The order:1. "Now is the winter of our discontent"(Richard III, Act I, Scene I, lines 1-23)2. "Why, love forswore me in my mother's womb" (3 Henry VI, Act III, Scene II, lines 170-179)3. "Why, I, in this weak piping time of peace"(Richard III, Act I, Scene 1, lines 24-27)4. "Then, since this earth affords no joy to me" (3 Henry VI, Act III, Scene II, lines 182-212)

A great actor at his best.

This is outrageously good. What a fucking scary performance, he's a man posessed. Gets me every time. And to think...the rest of the nation have just finished watching I'm a celeb.

ditto..Gary Oldman is the most underrated actor alive right now...its a shame he doesnt get more recognition but his acting peers know what a force he is

Absolutely spellbinding. I've watched this movie dozens of times and it never grows old. His interpretation is perfect, sympathetic and neurotic. Brilliance.
