Thank You!...Bob I remember hearing you play with Freddy Hubbard on "Blue Spirits" the album. Alfred Lion and Frank Wolf original owners and producers of Blue Note Records, did the right thing when they included you in their arsenal of musicians of that era 50's, and 60's A time when I was building my Bluenote Records home library. It was the album covers {pictures by Frank Wolf),the sound created by Rudy Van Gelder even then, that always interested me. Acoustic sound is the best. Peace All!

bob still looks so young, because he is still so young, he is a very kind hearted gentleman, apart from being one of the greatest, he spoke with so much love and admiration about his family, like he was talking to an old schoolfriend, i think thats what keeps bob so much younger than the most of us. bobs the real deal....

Bob is one of the greatest!You can play anything with him and he´ll pick it up regardless of style,tempo or key.When was this taken?He still looks so young!
