Hahaha. I had to bail just after intermission at a Bella Fleck and Flectones concert for the same reason. I just couldn't take anymore!

Can someone post the Great Balls of Fire cover they did? That version was great.

I saw them a couple of times and it was a holy hell moment where my heart swelled to three times its original size. Beer and pot are scary when the music is that good.

I don't have a clue how those people at that taping weren't up and having a great time with them. I had the good fortune a few times to see New Grass live and there was never anyone staying in their seats then. I will say that they are probably one of the best bands of all time for me. Sad to see them split when they did, you will never find 4 musicians of that caliber in a band together again. AWESOME!!!!

Don't know how those folks could have stayed glued to their seats for the taping of this show! This band's life was far too short. As someone in the music industry that listens to nearly everything, NGR has remained one of my personal favorite bands of all time. An amazing combination of playing chops, memorable music and good personalities. Not to diminish what they've all done since, but NGR was truly a special group! Thanks BluegrassLibrary for so many great NGR posts!

New Country--that must have been QUITE a show! (Unfortunately, too young & stupid to watch it at the time!) I LOVE this song and their version of it cooks (I say that in case the song's author has a hidden-away performance of it somewhere that I haven't heard :-) THANKS again, BluegrassLibrary (this used to be up here and disappeared for a while)
