Science has the ability (not the weakness) to be updated. Corrections are made and new data is added. Science doesn't claim to be an absolute truth. Religions don't have such ability, so no there are no updates and no corrections. With the evidence, data and knowledge we have, Evolution makes sense now in science, creationism doens't.It's contradictory and very convenient to say that science is wrong when it comes to evolution and then claim that "creationism is right and science proves it".

Darwin was a raciest, Hitler was a theist, and Einstein was a theist.... enough said

Theres more to this world and universe than we can see. Science has proven that over and over. Science thinks it knows all of the answers and then it is proven wrong, theories are in constant fluctuation. Evolution seems to make sense on the surface, just like the world being flat made sense 500 years ago.

In the case of Creationism the conclusions came first and the supernatural is necessary. In science the conclusions are made after testing, and the supernatural is not part of its domain as it explains the natural world using natural explanations. Also scientific theories (eg: gravity and evolution) are falsifiable, but supernatural things are not.The great majority of Christian biologists agree that evolution is the best explaination, although most of them were tought the story of creation.

Of course every evolutionist is going to say that they are correct about any topic related to evolution and creation, its like anything else. I believe in creation and I think I'm correct, you believe in evolution so you think your correct, even though your incorrect:) So...are you Buddhist?
cperez1000 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
... believe in evolution. Macro evolution is microevolution happening for long periods of time.Did you know that 2 species of the butterfly Hedylypta of the Hawaiian Islands appeared in the last 1000 years?. Look for it.Human eye? Take a look at talkorigins website.Did you look for genetic algorithms and how their results look as IC?

Nope. Not Scientologist. Stop guessing. Creationism is not religion? Well is basically based on the literal interpretation of Genesis, so it is religion and so is ID, which is Creationism is disguiseEven many creationists believe in microevolution as seem the lab, but not in macro evolution so they DO
TooManyBattleScars (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Please dont tell me your a Scientologist? Creationism is not religion. But more people have confessed too seeing God than they have too seeing something evolve. Why are you confusing it with religion? In the Christian bible Jesus came to abolish religion, most people think otherwise, but they are very incorrect. Explain to me that you understand how the human eye works? I dont care how it "evolved" just how it operates??

I never said I was an atheist, did I?Creationism IS religion. Most scientists who are also believers agree that evolution is as valid as gravity, and dismiss Creationism as a pseudo science or just a bad joke.

An incomprehensible comprehensive change of fortune it would take, amongst all flora & fauna, to realize Darwin's jigsaw puzzle. From hereon in, & from now on: it's unsalted cashews for me! Concern yourself not with my inconsequential injuries. My mind, body & soul remain unified. Do my enlighten'd steps mystify you? Does my pick-up-&-go-attitude befuddle you? Am I unrecognizable to all who would belittle Hermann Goering? Should we goose-step in lock-step to please our modern socialists? |
